Get to Know Ashley

CHASING BUTTERFLIES is Ashley Bisman’s telling memoir of her experience as a teenager, losing her father on September 11, 2001. Since publication, it has received the Indies Today Memoir of the Year Award with features on The Today Show with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, CBS, FOX, The Morning Show Australia, and The Wall Street Journal. As Ashley says, “Some people have asked how I can be “normal” after 9/11. I don’t want to be normal. I want to be extraordinary.” 

Ashley holds a master’s degree from Hunter College and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from The Pennsylvania State University. She resides in the suburbs of Manhattan and plans to continue writing books that inspire others.
